Normandy Motorcycles film shortlisted for ‘Best Public Relations’ category in the IVCA Awards 2014

Well, bang the drum, roll out the champers and fatten a calf or two..! We are delighted to announce that we have been nominated for a Best Public Relations Film Award.

The IVCA Awards is the industry’s leading corporate communication awards and recognise films produced not only to the highest standards but also considered to be really effective communication.

The 2014 Awards ceremony itself is on 28 March at London’s Grosvenor Hotel. Our fingers and toes are all firmly crossed.

The Film

Produced to a very tight budget and timescale, Normandy Motorcycles is the story of two partners who have successfully run their business for a number of years, creating a loyal client base.

Founded as a family business in 1960, current owners Peter Garbutt and Jason Crow run an old school business, but a vital one, providing an important niche service for motorcycle owners and a personal level of service that the ‘big boys’ can’t achieve. Peter and Jason are the very essence of Normandy Motorcycles, so it was important to capture the ethos of their business through their own personal stories. The result is an honest and engaging film, full of character and a sense of place, that appeals to a wide target audience.
